 Heres
how it works here.
A typical private road will have between 2 & 12 or
so houses on it. In those houses, (typically) youll
have a ratio of 10 to 1, awesome people versus village
idiot. It happens, here too. What IS different about here,
than a lot of places in America, is that we ALL help each
other. The neighbors here are some of the VERY best people
you can find, anywhere.
People ask me all the time, were from X,
will we get along with the people from Idaho?
Simple answer-
You see an old truck and a man standing next to it, with
the hood open. If you stop & ask him if he needs a
hand, youll do just fine here. If a person comes
here & sees that same guy on the side of the road,
and they just roll up their window tight & wave as
they pass, it will take a long time for the neighbors
to become friendly. I have a neighbor that I dont
like, at all. Guy ran over a dog I owned, a puppy, a year
old, sent me a check for $75.00 with a note that said
I should have kept him on a leash.
If
I see that neighbor stuck in the ditch, Ill (still)
pull him out.
Thats how we are.
